East Perth debuted in the Western Australian Women's Football League reserve grade competition in 2016 when they won 4 of 14 matches to finish in seventh place on the nine team premiership ladder. A year later they commenced at senior level but it proved to be a season to forget as they lost all 14 matches contested to succumb, inevitably, to a wooden spoon. East Perth did not field a women's team in 2018.
